Rare Lot of 360 Antique Stereoview Cards, Antique Stereoscope Viewer & 9 Antique Stereoview Card Boxes. A wide variety of many choice stereoview cards, great photography with wonderful antiquated views, many of which are long gone. The STRIPES in the black and white scans above ARE NOT on the original cards, the original cards all have clear sharp images with lots of details. These 3-D picture cards are from all over the world and the United States featuring. Stereoview cards from the late 1800′s to the very early 1900′s, in my estimate although there are. No dates on the cards that I have found. Rare photos from as pre WWII Japan, Palestine and Jerusalem. Africa, Egypt, China, Italy, Germany, Peru and many more. These stereoview cards are in good condition, 98% of them are published by Keystone View Company, Made in the USA, some from other publishers. Some of the cards are in sepia tone, some black and white, and some in color. Some cards, I found were hard to tell if they are black and white or sepia tone to me. The black and white photos above were all sepia tone, color and some black and white but I converted them to plain black and white for this listing because when I scanned them the color and the sepia tone had stripes on the pictures due to the curve of the stereoview card. These samples are just the tip of the iceberg, there is a wealth here of rare historical photographs, very hard to come by. Most of the cards have well written information on the back corresponding to the photos. The following sets of stereoview cards are in this lot. Yosemite National Park, 24. Birds, 18 (2 of these are #B35 Blue Jay). Victorian Children, 3+ in various settings, sepia tone, Keystone. 1 Blackface couple, sepia tone, Standard Series brand. United States, various sites, 39. Peru, 1 sepia tone, Keystone. Victorian Ladies, Couples and children on outings. Cards have a slight curve to them, all of them work perfectly in the antique viewer that is included in this lot. Some of the cards have slightly bumped corners or some light edge wear. Lot comes with wood and light weight metal Stereoscope Viewer, no marked Stereoscope but it is dated Pat. July 28, 1903, looks like a Stereoscope and works very well. The viewer has red velvet around where it comes in contact with your face, viewer is adjustable as you can slide it closer or further away when using. 5-1/4″ wide at widest point and 12.5″ long, the two antique glass magnifiers work very well. Some of the Japan views are Tokyo burden bearers, Cherry blossoms Shiba Park, Bridge to the Emporer’s Palace, House of Peers, Japanese blacksmith Yokohama, Charming Geishas, Asakusa Street, Asakusa Temple, Worshipers, vendors and doves; Free show on Theatre Street near Asakusa; Kameido and Wisteria Garlands; Bridge to Kameido; Looking at Temple Kameido; Lake Chuzenji; Daiya River young lady crossing in a mountain chair; Nishi Hongwanji Temple Kioto Gateway and Lantern; Shrine in the Chion-in Temple Kioto; Yasaka Pagoda; Under the Bamboo Trees; Kiyomizu, great bell Chion-in temple; Kilns where the famous Satsuma Pottery is fired; Groves of old trees; Nikko, Buddhist Temple – Nikko; Peasant praying before God of Light Images – Nikko; Famous Tea Plantation and girls gathering tea; a Wayside Tea House; Tennoji – Osaka; Feudal castle of the proud Shoguns; Osaka Family Hibachi; Lotus; Feeding Silkworms with Mulberry leaves; Unwinding the Cocoons; At the loom – home spun fabric; Plowing near Seoul Korea; Private Garden in Japan; Chrysanthemum Show Yokohama; Mississippi Bay Japan; Wayfarers resting under the Pines at Tokyo to Kyoto and more. Regarding the Life of Christ Box, the Palestine and Jerusalem cards did not fit in the box. Attn: International Customers, please do not pay for your item until we invoice you. We’ll be glad to help. This silver gelatin photograph was printed from the original negative in 1967 as part of a silver gelatin print portfolio issued in that year – it would frame up beautifully for display. NOTE: Unfortunately our computer scans simply cannot capture the complete beauty of these silver gelatin prints (although we try very hard to give an accurate approximation) – the full contrast range, subtle shades and detail are beyond the scanner’s rendering capability and therefor the scans in this listing do not do justice to the beauty of the actual print itself. This photograph is guaranteed to be authentic and comes with a hand signed CERTIFICATE OF AUTHENTICITY (COA) from Fine Photo Galleries. The watermark word “Finephoto” does not appear on the actual print. We list beautiful original vintage photographs and photogravures everyday! Stunning Ryuijie 2018 Ocean Beach Wa Seascape 11×14 Limited Edition Of Only 10

Stunning Ryuijie 2018 Ocean Beach Wa Seascape 11x14 Limited Edition Of Only 10

STUNNING RYUIJIE 2018 OCEAN BEACH WA SEASCAPE 11X14 LIMITED EDITION PHOTOGRAPH. Every once in a while you see a. That’s in a league of. Adam’s “Moonrise”, Weston’s Holland. Road”, Sexton’s “Rice Field…. You get the point. Now will this Ryuijie photograph be “the” image he is known for? Time will tell, but in my mind this is one of his. Unlike over 1400 “Moonrise” photographs that were printed, here is your chance to own one of only 10 of a photograph that’s in a league of its own. Need to know more about Ryuijie, just do a search on the net and many websites will come up. Found a short film about Ryuijie. Photo is in excellent condition, mounted/matted to 16″x20″ museum board. Signed just under the image along with date and title on the back mount. As I look back over my 35+ years of collecting I don’t think anyone is now more prolific on turning out great images month after month than Ryuijie. I first met Ryuijie in the late 1970′s as I was working in a local Camera store. In 1981 I opened my own photographic supply store in Monterey. It was at that time I started collecting Ryuijie’s photographs. With the history of such great photographers in our area like E. Weston, Adams, Baer, B. Weston, Bullock, Crouch, Weber, Gilpin, Sexton, Millea, Casanave, plus so many more, no one with the exception of Brett Weston (who had a 65 year career) has been more prolific than Ryuijie. For over thirty-five years he help raise two children, worked full-time in a local print shop and still has had time to turn out one spectacular photo after another, week after week. Please note that the actual image size will be different than the paper size listed above as this darkroom made photograph was handmade and did required some custom cropping. The item “STUNNING RYUIJIE 2018 OCEAN BEACH WA SEASCAPE 11X14 LIMITED EDITION OF ONLY 10″ is in sale since Wednesday, March 27, 2019. This item is in the category “Art\Art Photographs”. Brady and also has a blue 2-cent Civil War era stamp on the back, it is dated 1865 on the front. From Wikipedia: Seth Kinman (September 29, 1815 February 24, 1888) was an early settler of Humboldt County, California, a hunter based in Fort Humboldt, a famous chair maker, and a nationally recognized entertainer. He stood over 6 ft (1.83 m) tall and was known for his hunting prowess and his brutality toward bears and Indians. Kinman claimed to have shot a total of over 800 grizzly bears, and, in a single month, over 50 elk. He was also a hotel keeper, saloon keeper, and a musician who performed for President Lincoln on a fiddle made from the skull of a mule. Known for his publicity seeking, Kinman appeared as a stereotypical mountain man dressed in buckskins on the U. The chairs were made from elkhorns and grizzly bear skins and given to U. Presidents so honored include James Buchanan, Abraham Lincoln, Andrew Johnson, and Rutherford Hayes.
