Note: I met the son of the Army soldier who took these photographs and unlike many soldiers who used their negatives to produce and sell many of their photos they took of Marilyn in Korea, this Army soldier did not. He produced these on the Army base for his wife and that was it. I bought his whole album and this is my last one. Here is a once in a lifetime chance to own this stunning one of a kind shot of Marilyn in Korea with handwritten notation on back by the Army soldier to his wife. Very rare, historical, patriotic, artifact of Marilyn Monroe history. Note: Last photo is not included it’s just to show more historical details and information this Army photographer captured of an Army plane dropping supplies and the wonderful handwritten notation this soldier wrote to his wife on the back of the photo documenting this extremely special moment in history. This soldier got the once in a lifetime chance to actually see and photograph Marilyn up close and in person. This is one of a kind. This soldier produced this photo in the Army’s darkroom and wrote notations on back for his wife. Size 8 x 10 inch. I have two other listings on here right now with another never having been seen before shot in size 8×10 and some 5×4 snapshots taken by him and that’s it. Here Marilyn is looking absolutely stunning in her gorgeous famous dress posing for the troops in a candid shot. And as confirmed by the soldier’s handwritten notation on back Marilyn came back out to pose for pictures especially for the “shutterbugs” one can see that antique suitcase there on the ground and see there are no microphones. One can even see her injured finger. Such an extremely rare, wonderful, patriotic, Marilyn Monroe, artifact of history. In excellent condition, no tears, no creases, no bends. There is only yellow tape remnants (not sticky) because this did come out of the soldiers personal photo album but would not show once framed. The yellowing on the back does not affect the front at all. If you’re interested please follow me for more rare original Marilyn Monroe photos you may like in the future, I plan to list my entire collection.
