Original, vintage black and white photographs of California Missions, circa 1938. 43 photos dry mounted on mat boards. Photographs are clean, crisp and bright. Dry mounted on mat boards. A very beautiful set of California Mission photographs. Each photograph has name and location written in pencil. Boards are toned due to age; rubbed at corners and edges; a few with smudging, staining and light creasing. The back of each board is stamped: Given St. Matthew’s School with previous owner name plate, number of each photograph and the date the possible date of when the photograph. Stored in a shelfworn cardboard case, with 4 large black cloth tape at sides of case. Photos are numbered and ordered by geographical location of the mission, north to south.
