ESTHER RALSTON Vintage Original LINEN-BK Photo SILENCE SOUND STAGE Fireworks

The first sound film was produced in 1927. So, this photo was lightly taken shortly after 1927 by the studio, to picture the sadness the studios and stars felt towards an era ending and a new one beginning with the advent of sound of pictures. This photo is very historical in nature, depicting a major change the studios and stars were experiencing. The back typed snipe depicts the studio’s feelings at the time: Don’t cry Little Actress–Esther Ralston, Paramount Player, has a tearful moment when she discovers that Hollywood will spend a very noiseless Fourth of July this year. On the back of the photo, is a typed snipe that talks about ESTHER RALSTON. There is an area of very slight waviness near the bottom right side of photo. Great Resolution and Focus. This is a VINTAGE ORIGINAL Photo and NOT a Reproduction Restrike. The item “ESTHER RALSTON Vintage Original LINEN-BK Photo SILENCE SOUND STAGE Fireworks” is in sale since Saturday, October 03, 2015.
